Made from solid black cherry with a clear hand rubbed oil finish.  The worktop surface is food safe,  however to preserve the beauty of the cherry wood knife work is best accomplished on a cutting board.

Indigenous to eastern North America, black cherry heartwood is durable and resistant to decay and will age to a medium reddish brown.

The worktable is made from both 1" and 2" thick solid black cherry.
